Season 2 - Episode 6

Episode 6 of the Crash the Net Podcast was a much more pleasant episode to record than the previous. Both the Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins had significantly better weeks. The Wings had games against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Phoenix Coyotes, and Montreal Canadians. The Penguins were in action after a long break against the Dallas Stars, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Phoenix Coyotes.

Season 2 - Episode 5

Episode 5 of the Crash the Net Podcast was not as pleasant to record as some of the previous episodes. Both the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins had tough weeks. We looked at those weeks as Detroit continued their intra-divisional match-ups with Chicago, St. Louis, and Columbus. Pittsburgh also struggled this week against teams in their own division. They played New Jersey, and both of the teams from New York, the Islanders and Rangers.

Season 2 - Episode 4

In this week's show we look at the last three games for the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Wings took on Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary all on the road, while the Penguins had their own road trip to deal with traveling to Minnesota, Colorado, and Long Island. We look at how last week's predictions worked out, and make more predictions for this week. This show was actually recorded on Monday night, but is being put out late on Tuesday due to the fact that I was a poll worker today and had to be at the polling location by 5:30am.

Season 2 - Episode 3

This week we continue to focus solely on the Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins in our podcast. Again if you would like to get caught up on the news from around the rest of the NHL you can check out our other show at www.sinbinshow.com. We missed recording last week's episode due to a lot of computer problems that I was having. We thought about covering all the games we had missed, but we didn't want the show to be really long, so we just focused on the last few games for each team. This week we also started something new. At the end of each team's recap we are now making predictions for the upcoming week.

Season 2 - Episode 2

Episode 2 continues to roll along with the new format where we just focus on the Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins. The Wings had a busy week. We had four games to cover against Edmonton, Calgary, Chicago, and Los Angeles. The Penguins had a much lighter week taking on the Canadians at home and finishing the week in Toronto. Also, don't forget to check out our other show at www.sinbinshow.com.

Season 2 - Episode 1

Episode 1 of season 2 was put out just in time to cover all of the week 1 action around the NHL. The new season brings with it some changes to the Crash the Net podcast. To start this season off we will be focusing more on the Penguins and Red Wings and less on the news from around the NHL. To find out why, check out the first few minutes of this episode to hear the exciting news. And if you just can't wait, check out www.sinbinshow.com for a hint. Hopefully you like the changes we've made. It should result in a shorter show, which most people view as a good thing. Let us know what you think!

Episode 32

The NHL season has come to end, but the Crash the Net Podcast has not! In this jam packed episode we read and responded to a listener email from Paul. We then covered every Stanley Cup Finals game in-depth. The show didn't end there though, as we had news out of Pittsburgh, contract situations in Minnesota and Long Island, and we talked about the record low television ratings for the Stanley Cup Finals. And don't forget, we're not done yet! Come back next week to hear what we think the coming season has in store for the Penguins and Red Wings.

Episode 31

The Stanley Cup Finals are here, and you might suspect that we have an extra long show because. Well, you'd be wrong. With only one Detroit game to recap, and the Finals having not started, it turned out to be one of our shortest shows. In the news segment we did discuss the possible sale of the Nashville Predators to a familiar name, and the retirement of an American hockey great. We then dug into the final game of the Western Conference Finals between the Detroit Red Wings and Anaheim Ducks. To wrap up the show we broke down all the details of the Cup Finals match-up between the Ducks and Senators, and made our predictions.

Episode 30

In the news this week was the Pronger suspension, an assaulted fan in a foreign land, and a re-signed goalie in Tampa Bay. We also had 2 more great emails to respond to. Then we looked at Ottawa's five game thumping of the Buffalo Sabres, and what might be next for the team that has won the east the last two years. We of course wrapped up the show going in-depth on all of the Detroit Red Wings Western Conference Finals games against the Ducks.

Episode 29

There was plenty of news to cover from all around the world this week. The International Ice Hockey Federation announced a new high-profile game, and the World Championships concluded this weekend.

We also had three emails and comments to read. Two on the negative side, and one great one from one of the biggest Wing Nuts in Texas. He took Jason's statement of "Get your Lidstrom for Hart bumper stickers primed and ready!" very literally. Check out the images below.

Of course there was plenty to cover from the NHL too. Due to our late recording we were able to cover the first three games of the Eastern Conference Finals. Like always we capped things off by giving you in-depth coverage of the Detroit Red Wings in the Western Conference Finals.
